Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, downloading the app, or using PlayVault, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and device access.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep your username and account details lawful and non-misleading.
  • We may restrict or remove accounts used for abuse, fraud, impersonation, or other prohibited conduct.

3. User content

You are responsible for the ratings, reviews, notes, profile content, and social actions you publish in PlayVault. You must not post unlawful, defamatory, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or otherwise harmful content.

4. Product scope

PlayVault is an iOS product centered on personal game tracking and lightweight social discovery. Public website pages such as trending, privacy, terms, and support exist to explain the product and surface public catalog information. They are not a substitute for the app itself.

5. Third-party services and data

PlayVault relies on Firebase, Cloudflare Workers, and IGDB to authenticate users, store application data, deliver API responses, and present game metadata. We do not control the availability or policies of those providers.

6. Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We aim to keep PlayVault reliable, but the service is provided on an "as available" basis and may experience interruptions, bugs, or maintenance periods.

7. Moderation and enforcement

We may investigate reports, restrict visibility, delete content, or suspend accounts where needed to protect users, enforce these terms, or comply with legal obligations.

8. Intellectual property

PlayVault, its design, and its original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Game titles, covers, trademarks, and related intellectual property belong to their respective owners. Game metadata and imagery are surfaced for catalog and discovery purposes.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlayVault is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

10. Termination

You may stop using PlayVault at any time. You may also delete your account from inside the app. We may suspend or terminate access where necessary to protect the service or enforce these terms.
